Meet Demeka Kelly, RN-BSN
Demeka Kelly is a Registered Nurse from North Carolina. A Winston-Salem State Graduate, Demeka comes with 20 years of experience as a nurse as she began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (PN). Demeka has experience in long-term care, home health care, med-surg, as well as nursing education. Demeka comes with years of healthcare experience with special interest in the health and wellness of her community and case management.
Demeka is the owner and operator of Dymond Life Healthcare in Salisbury NC est. 2023, where her focus is to give back to the community in which she was raised and bring health awareness to those around.
My Why
“As a home care nurse I’ve always found joy in being able to provide 1:1 client/patient focused care. It is my belief that clients are able to better understand the circumstances surrounding their health in the comfort of their own home. Because I wanted a more personable approach to caring for my clients, I decided that home care was the best approach for me in becoming a medical entrepreneur. My community health rotation is what added to my love for home care and in being able to provide a legacy for my family, which is why I decided to open a home care agency. In doing so it is my goal to decrease the health disparities within the community, with special focus on minority populations and rural settings, as these are the areas believed to have more of a need for health care education.”
